Transport of a Soilmec crane SC-120, weighting 120 tons and its accessories, from the Kuwait desert to Chile using a charter ship. The deadlines and needs of our client called for an on site overview both at the start and at the arrival of the shipment.

CRITICAL POINTS

  • Discrepancies between the packing list and the actual number of packages found on site.
  • Our creative solution was to bind together two of the smaller parcels and make them one, as to match the documents.
  • Shipment accurred during the EID religious festivities that drastically reduce the normal workflow of the nation and the hours in which the public offices work.
  • Thanks to the skill of our On Site Managing Director, We managed to board our ship without beeing late and avoiding any extra charges for our Client.
